IF HUMANITY IS NOT REALLY DEAD, THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO THE PEOPLE OF AFGHANISTAN. THEY SHOULD NOT LET A GENERATION DISAPPEAR

women's rights activist, Logar

I used to work in the government as the executive director of an advisory board. Before that, I worked as a teacher and a school manager in different public and private schools.

Now, I am a women’s rights activist fighting against a terrorist and ignorant group and I will not hesitate to fight for social justice and women’s rights.

The most important change in my life in the last year has been the destruction of my dreams and the loss of my duty and that my children are not going to school. These negative changes give me the drive to fight to get these rights back.

The most important issue for me in Afghanistan is the removal of women by a terrorist group, which the world has kept silent about and ignored the voice of Afghan women. We are still working and fighting on this issue.

We not only fight for women’s work; we fight for all women’s rights.

I don’t see any hope for the future of Afghan women under misogynistic rule. They do not accept women as human beings. They see the future of Afghan women as housewives and child-bearers for men.

For more than a year now, we have been talking to the United Nations and the international community and shouting for them to reach the women of Afghanistan. But unfortunately, they don’t hear our voices. And it seems that they have forgotten Afghanistan and the women of Afghanistan.
